Contract Between Fan And Creator
This contract explains the relationship between a subscriber (a “Fan”) and a creator (a “Creator”) on Buttons. Both Fans and Creators should read and follow it.
Last updated: April 1, 2026
1. What This Contract Is
When a Fan subscribes to a Creator, buys a pay-per-view post or message, or sends a tip, that transaction creates a direct relationship between the Fan and the Creator. Buttons provides the platform and payment rails; Creators provide the content and benefits. This page summarizes the key rights and obligations on both sides, alongside our overall Terms of Service.
2. The Creator's Promises
A Creator agrees that they will:
- Deliver what they advertise. The content and benefits described in their tiers, PPV listings, and profile must be accurate and must be delivered on time.
- Produce their own content. All content must be owned by the Creator or posted with all necessary rights and consents. Everyone depicted must be at least 18 and have given clear, documented consent.
- Follow our rules. The Creator will comply with our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Acceptable Use Policy.
- Communicate respectfully. Messages, calls, live interactions, and custom requests must be handled professionally and kindly.
- Comply with law and taxes. Creators are independent operators. They are responsible for complying with applicable law in their jurisdiction, paying any taxes they owe, and keeping the records required by law.
- Handle personal data responsibly. If a Fan shares personal data with a Creator (for example, an address for a shipped reward), the Creator must only use it for the agreed purpose and keep it secure.
3. The Fan's Rights
A Fan who pays for a subscription, tip, or PPV has the right to:
- Access the promised content. While their subscription is active, the Fan is entitled to the content and benefits described in the Creator's tier (subject to any reasonable posting cadence the Creator has explained).
- Cancel anytime. Subscriptions can be cancelled from Settings → Subscriptions. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. Recurring billing stops from the next cycle.
- Be treated respectfully. Creators must follow the same rules everyone else does. Harassment, discrimination, and abuse are never acceptable, even in paid interactions.
- Ask for support. If there's a problem with a transaction or a creator, Fans can ask us for help — see our Complaints Policy.
4. The Fan's Promises
A Fan agrees that they will:
- Respect the content. Do not copy, redistribute, screen-record, screenshot-for-sharing, or re-publish a Creator's content outside Buttons. Content on Buttons is made available to you under a personal, non-transferable licence for your private viewing only.
- Respect the Creator. Do not make demands that go beyond what the Creator has advertised, pressure them into content they don't want to create, or make threats or harass them.
- Pay what they owe. Payments must be made using a valid payment method you're authorized to use. Chargebacks should only be filed for genuine disputes and not used to reverse payments for content that was delivered.
5. Refunds And Disputes
Payments to Creators through Buttons are generally non-refundable. Refunds may be given at our discretion — for example, where a Creator did not deliver what was promised, where the Creator was terminated for breach of our rules, for unauthorized transactions, or where required by law.
We encourage Fans and Creators to resolve disagreements directly where possible. If that isn't possible, you can ask us for help. We may mediate (for example, by clarifying what was promised, removing content, or issuing a refund where our policy allows), but we are not a court and cannot decide legal disputes between you.
6. Termination Of This Contract
The contract ends when the subscription is cancelled, the subscription period expires, the Creator terminates the service, or either the Fan or the Creator has their account closed (voluntarily or by us). When this contract ends:
- Access to subscriber-only content ends at the same time as the subscription.
- The licence to content purchased through PPV continues for the Fan's personal viewing (from within Buttons) only, unless the content is removed for policy violations.
- Personal data obligations and any tax/reporting obligations survive termination.
7. Buttons' Role
Buttons is the platform that hosts the content and processes payments. We are not a party to individual subscriptions between a Fan and a Creator and don't guarantee any specific content or benefit. Our responsibilities to you (the Fan or the Creator) are as described in our Terms of Service. We may step in to enforce our rules against any user, regardless of who they are.
